Can I pay in any other currency than EUR?

Prices are set at EUR and invoices are established in EUR. Depending on your credit card or account, there might be a possibility to get the price converted in a different currency.

Does my translation exactly mirror the original source text?

We strive to make your translation look similar to the original document. The contents will be correct. The form might slightly differ. Stamps will be reproduced if possible and the readable content is translated. Abbreviations might stay in their original form.

Can I get a translation of a handwritten document?

Yes. However, we strongly recommend that you add/upload a word document with the handwritten words typed in block letters.

Otherwise, in case we cannot manage to read certain handwritten words, we'll replace them with the mention (unreadable). 

What guarantee do I have if there is an error in the translation?

If there is a typo in a typed word, please send an email to info@budgetsworntranslation.com and we'll fix it. Should there be an error in a handwritten text and you did not add a document with the typed version, then please reorder a translation.

What exactly is a sworn translation?

The translator affiixing their stamp on the document and signing the translation is registered on the official list of sworn experts, translators and interpreters of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg issued by the Ministry of Justice. The translation has legal value.

What language pairs can I order?

This website only supports pairs in the languages we handle on the spot, that is English (US/UK/), Français (FR), Español (ES), Português (PT), Italiano (IT), Deutsch (DE), Nederlands (NL) in all possible combinations.

How do I get my translation?

If you only need a scanned pdf of your translation, you can select the free delivery and we'll send the pdf to your email address.

In case you need the physical copy, you can either pick it up at no cost in our Luxembourg office during working hours or ask for a paid shipping either by simple mail or registered mail. Please contact us if you need it to be sent outside the EU & UK.

What services does BudgetSwornTranslation offer?

We offer standard or urgent delivery or pick-up.

Your translation will bear the stamp and signature of a sworn translator officially registered on the relevant list from the Ministry of Justice. You may also request a certificate of accuracy, a wax stamp, additional copies and stapling of source and target documents.

How can I request a translation?

Visit the BudgetSwornTranslation website and navigate to the “Store” page. Fill out the form with details about your project, language pair, and deadline. Once the payment is made, we’ll proceed with the translation.

How do I get a quote for my translation project?

When you fill out your form in our “Store”, you will immediately know how much the translation will cost you. Note that the displayed price is excluding VAT.

Are the translators certified?

BudgetSwornTranslation works with certified/sworn and experienced translators who specialize in various fields such as legal, medical, technical, and literary translation.

What is the standard turnaround time for translations?

Turnaround times vary depending on the project size. BudgetSwornTranslation strives to provide accurate translations in less than five business days.

Is my information confidential?

Absolutely! BudgetSwornTranslation follows strict confidentiality protocols. Your documents and personal information are secure.

Can I request urgent translations?

Yes, urgent translations are available. Contact BudgetSwornTranslation directly to discuss your specific requirements. You can also select urgent delivery on our “Store” and we will deliver your translation as soon as possible.

What payment methods are accepted?

BudgetSwornTranslation accepts various payment methods, including credit cards, and PayPal.

How do I track the progress of my translation project?

Once your project is underway, you’ll receive updates via email. You can also log into your account on the website to check the status.
